Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Only lasted 2 minutes Comment: We have just bought this and as soon as we plugged it in (after about two minutes)there was a terrible smell of burning and it stopped working. We were a bit disappointed, hope this is a one off. never had to return an 'amazon' product back before. Unfortunately using the Lupo charger takes a lot longer to charge my ipod touch than the older apple one (it must be 4 years old now!). Bit disappointed in it to be honest. Many laptops fail due to overheating so resting one on a fan unit greatly assists longeivity; however supplying the fan from the Laptop USB is self defeating since this increases the demand from its' internal supply. So connecting the fan to the LUPO was a good solution. The LUPO is sturdily constructed, little larger than a "mains plug" (so transportable) and only warms slightly above ambient temperature in use.
