Comment: The Starlogic multi-region DVD player is fantastic value at £29.99, a basic machine but good
quality playback. Found no faults what so ever. So be quick and buy one ideal xmas present.

Comment: Multi-region fully functional dvd player for £30. Very impressive- not for the serious user though,
my only slight problems were the lack of on unit display (or even a light to tell you its turned
on!) and the menu system/osd are a little cumbersome and it is a little noisy but what do you expect
forr £30. Otherwise fantastic as a second player, region 3 dvds worked first time and picture is
really quite good on a smaller (17ins lcd)screen. If you own a large screen or plasma though I would
invest in something of the £80-150 mark just for the higher quality connections and build.

Summary: Is there nothing this unit won't play?
Comment: Sometimes when you buy a DVD player, there's a compromise over what different types of media it will
play. Ok DVD's are a given and in the case of this machine it plays DVD's from all regions, which is
fantastic for the price. However it's the other formats that it supports that makes this one of the
best value, no frills players I seen to date.

It plays, audio CD's, VCD and SVCD, JPEG, WMA and
MP3 - I'm sure if you put a pizza in the disc drive (not recommended) it would attempt to play it!

You would be hard pressed to find a machine that does so much for so little outlay. Highly
recommended.

Summary: VALUE for money
Comment: I am fron India. I wanted to buy a DVD that would also work in India if i have to take it there.
This MULTI-MODE one can do that.

I was worried about my first amazon-UK shopping and hence was
worried but it all came in ONE PIECE and Just In Time. The Scart Cable [ordered with DVD player]
took 2 extra days though.

This DVD player doesnt have many fancy features like the digital meter
to show timeline. It can take only one DVD/VCD/CD at a time. The remote is something i didnt like
much.

BUT, all of it functions perfectly well for me to operate it for next couple of years
before i buy a state of the art DVD player and yeah it hasnt lost all its value if i get transfered
to another region.

Thats why i would say---GOOD VALUE for Money.
