It was fine for a couple of months, but then I would put a disc inand it would say NO-DISC. This only happened once or twice. Now it won't play anything.
I urge younot to buy this, go for the sony one which is around £50.
I wasn'tdisappointed. I bought this player 7 months ago and have had no problems. The only quirks are (asother reviewers have noted) the subtitles being on the first time you set up the machine, but thisis easily turned off. The player itself would benefit from an LED on/off light, and the remote israther tacky - think old plastic calculators from primary school.
But for the price, this is agreat machine. It plays anything you pop in it, any region, DVD-RW, MP3 etc. The picture quality isgood, it is slimline and perfect as a second player in a bedroom or if you're short on space. Iteven looks smart, so you can pretend you spent more money on it than you did.
You can't expectmore than that for the same price as a DVD, can you? If you want expensive extras, or the comfort ofbuying a brand name, then spend more money on something else. If you want cheap reliability, withall the basics you could need, this player is for you.
