Summary: unbelievable value for money
Comment: Bought as an additional DVD player to play those formats my main player will not play, and am very
impressed. Fairly quick to set up, though you may find some of the defaults not the appropriate
setting (eg video out set as progressive scan) so worth fighting through slightly dodgey instruction
booklet for each setting. Have had no difficulty with any of the discs I have tried (MP3, JPEG,
region 1, finalised DVD-R) and though not mentioned in the details even outputs dolby digital via
coax output.

The negatives are, picture quality not quite up there with a good quality DVD player
(but better than any VCR), worse remote control I've ever seen, and have noticed the audio
occasionally drops out for a fraction of a second. But at less than £30 these complaints may seem a
little churlish.

If looking for a second DVD player for a bedroom etc, would recommend this
highly.

Comment: ideal for anywhere in the house, plays everything, great price. picture quality is good, sound
quality is good. remote works fine and is simple to use. there is no display but if like me you just
want to put in a film and watch this is just the job!

Comment: i bought this player on the reviews. i dont know what discs it does play but it struggles with
dvd-r + dvd mp3 . also is very slow and it keeps changing the setup etc back after you have set
it.

Comment: Bought this DVD player for our bedroom and this is certainly the best player money can buy - even
the fact that it is multi-region makes it even more of a bargain. Strangely, i had my doubts about
it when i saw it on the amazon web site but only because i've never heard of this brand before.
Couldn't believe how slim it is when i took it from its box, set up is a doddle compared to some DVD
players and, it is, more or less, a plug and play machine! My final word on this matter is - every
home should have one!
