Summary: Starlogic Multi-region DVD player
Comment: I think that its total value for money im very pleased with it no probs at all.
I now can play
all my DVD's inc my region 1 DVD's and its plays smothley and has a nice slim-line design.
The
only let down is it has no digital display but apart from that anyone wanting to buy a Multi-region
DVD player wont go wrong with this item.

Summary: Cheap and cheerful
Comment: The first one of these we had delivered didn't work at all. Amazon quickly despatched a second,
which worked perfectly - though the trim on the DVD drawer was loose. When it works, it's excellent
value for money overall; quality control seems to be commensurate with the very low price.

Summary: Starlogic DVD Player
Comment: This player does everything it says on the label. DVD+-R and DVD+-RW all play without a hitch. I
might buy another one!

Summary: Fantastic value
Comment: I needed a good value multi-region DVD player. The other reviews looked promising so I thought it
was worth a go. For a cheap DVD player it does everything I want, every disc I have tried has played
without problems. Visually it looks the part and is very easy to use.

I have only one bad point to
note, which is why I have rated it with 4 stars - its sound output. The sound output is very low you
have to turn it up to its max volume setting to get an average volume output through my TV. Maybe
its the way it hooks up to my TV but the volume output is poor compared to my PS2, video or cable
box, but for the price I can live with it.

Summary: Outstanding in its field !!!
Comment: Was looking for a player to play DVD-R discs for my parents for xmas. @ £30 and based upon other
reviews, I thought why not give it a try. Ordered on the 15th dec and was delivered on the 21st. was
a simple plug and play operation to get set up. my parents find that it is easier to use than the
previous machine thay were using. we have put all the freebie discs that the papers/magazines issue
through it to make sure it does what it is supposed to and yes - it does play anything you throw at
it inc different regions(have played 1,3 and 4 as well as 2) with no loss of quality or problems.
this is one of the smallest(height) machines i have seen. there is no front display so you have to
rely on the remote which is simple and easy to use. for a replacement machine this may not be to
everyones taste but as a second player or one for the kids you just cant go wrong for 30 pounds. and
if it goes wrong after 12 months then you just buy a new one. has all the outputs on the back for
amps/5.1 system connections as well and does state DTS output but i havent tried this so couldnt
comment.
Basically this is a great little machine that is hard to fault and at the price it would
make an ideal present of a first player for those of your family/friends that havent caught up with
the dvd age yet.
