Summary: Don't buy this!
Comment: Bought one of these a year and two weeks ago. It's no longer sensing that the drawer is in so it
won't do anything. A search around on the web shows this is a common fault.

May be worth buying as
it is really cheap but you will be lucky to get a years use out of it.

Summary: Decent player for the price
Comment: Bought it about 6 months ago, light usage, no problems playing Region 1 or 2 DVDs. Plays
home-burned DVDs pretty well (better than my Phillips model in fact) but will occasionally get hung
up on marginal-quality discs. Quirks (not so much problems) are (1) DVDs often begin playing with
subtitles on, and (2) the remote for my Delonghi space heater turns it on.

Regarding reliability:
If you buy one, run it continuously for 24-48 hours. If something is going to break it will likely
happen in that time period.

Comment: Should have known better for £21- buy a more expensive DVD player! I have the problem with the
sound getting out of synch and if you turn off the power it sometimes doesn't turn on and is so
frustrating!

Comment: Unless you like adding to the growing rubbish problem and burning money, don't buy this! Ours
lasted about 3 months before refusing to play anything again.

Summary: Amazing Product - Amazing Value
Comment: This is a really excellent DVD Player, make no mistake about it. For £20, you would be forgiven for
thinking it would be nothing but trouble and a waste of time. But this is NOT the case at all. This
is one tidy little player. It's very impressive because it will play absoloutley anything you throw
at it - I've tried a variety of different DVD-R formats and all play perfectly. It will also handle
DVD's from other regions (Mostly I play R1 discs on it) absoloutley perfect.

Operation is very
simple. It also has a pretty detailed settings menu, which allows you to change things like image
Brightness, Contrast, Saturation e.t.c. This enables you to get a picture that's right for you and
your TV set - I now have a perfect DVD Image with this player - vivid and contrasty it looks really
great. You can also hook the player up to either a Surround Sound system, or even your Stereo for
better sound - something I have done with great results - sound quality on two standard Stereo
Speakers rather than just through by TV Speakers is much better.

This is a fantastic player. I got
it last Christmas and it plays everything like a dream to this day. I can't imagine what the
negative reviewers have experienced because as far as I'm concerned this product is pretty much
perfect. The price is just unbeatable! I have to say, I prefer this player to the far more expensive
player I have. This, for my money, is far easier to operate and even gives a much more vivid
picture! A really amazing product - can't recommend highly enough and it's perfect for this
Christmas!
