Summary: not bad for the price
Comment: I bought one of these for the girlfriends parents. Looks good and works fine as far as I can tell.
Only downside is that when its connected the TV teletext doesn't work at all. Tried connecting a
VCR using the same SCART lead & input and didn't see the problem so its safe to assume its the DVD
player.

I dont know whether its a slightly faulty unit or whether its a failure of the unit in
conjunction with that TV. I haven't been able to try it on another one yet.

Still intending to
buy another one for one of my relatives.

Summary: Great DVD Player For The Price
Comment: I bought this as a replacement for my daughters one.
Ordered one day got it the next,so well done
Amazon.
The setup was easy,and the DVD is very light,perhaps I should also say that there is no
window in the front of this.
Not that I find that a nuisance as they are very hard to see when
your sitting down anyway.
Player is very quite,even on the draw opening,has a very slimline look
as well.
One thing did impress me was the picture,it was as good as my one ,and I payed over
£200 for that.
I tried a number of DVD`s in it,some from the states,with no problem at
all.
If your after a quality DVD player,then get this.

Summary: funny lines on the screen :(
Comment: whilst all the reviews that i have read about this player are true it does play everything i have
thrown at it, i have now returned two players as when a dvd is played there are lines down the
centre of the screen, this is very annoying especially on dark colours in films. I am awaiting the
third replacement so there is hope yet!

Comment: I suppose I should have expected this sort of quality for the price but at the end of the day it
should at least do what its supposed to.The volume on the dvd player is so low that by turning up
your tv volume you get a background hum so loud yiou can't watch the dvd.You will be watching a dvd
when suddenly the screen rolls and flickers etc etc. all in all a false economy steer clear of this
machine!!You have been warned.

Summary: mostly excellent
Comment: This is a very good dvd player that I recived for Christmas.
It plays most of the dvd, cd, dvdr
both+/- and vcd. Above all it has a brilliant pan and scan with very litte lateral loss of
picture.
The downside, it somethimes can go out of synch with the audio/video, but a quick fast
forward/reverse and then play seems to rectifie the problem. It does not read a vcd full, so if you
have a disc with 7 media files on it may only read the first one or two. It as also not read a
couple of dvdr, but these are minor quibbles and would not put me off recomending this to anybody.
