Comment: This machine is noisy, skipps, and dosn't play! You put in a disk and after a long pause it plays
for ten or so seconds, then drops back to the loading screen again and re starts! DO NOT BUY

Summary: a problem with this player
Comment: This would still be a good player at a much higher price, but I have a problem with it.
Im a bit
concerned about its energy consumption. Other similar ones are 10 or 11 watt (like the sony NS355),
this one is 25watt, more than double, and has no power on indicator light on front meaning you are
likely to leave it on.
I think it's a real shame manufacturers don't think this environmental
consideration is important at any price.
I suggest users consider switching to a 100% renewable
energy power supplier to help offset products like this. (and I don't work for one either!!).

Summary: Very Good Value!
Comment: I didn't want to spend a fortune on a DVD player, and I didn't have too!! This does everything that
you'd want it to, picture and sound quality are good (with a normal scart lead!). They only thing
I've noticed is the lip synch goes out slightly sometimes, but it rights itself soon enough, and
hasn't spoilt my viewing pleasure yet! For the price, this is an excellent machine. I use it as my
main player, and use it a lot, and have had not problems with it so far!

Summary: Why sell something that doesn't work
Comment: I got the DVD player as a Christmas present and was really happy. It was my first DVD player and had
good reviews online. It had a problem from the start, it kept turning itself on when I was watching
TV (the guy from Amazon sounded impressed and said I had a ghost DVD player !! ). Its now completely
stopped working with a DVD inside that I can't get out! Amazon are replacing it (the DVD player) but
I do not understand why this product is being sold in the first place, yes its cheap but judging
from other peoples feedback and Amazon themselves the life expectancy is only a few months. Surely
it is not fit for retail. The bloke on the phone said that some people have had theirs for a year
without anything going wrong as if they are the exception to the rule and for £29.99 you should
expect things to go wrong. Again why sell it then in the first place !

Summary: Amazing value
Comment: An amazing bit of kit for the price. I was wary of buying it because of the low price (you get what
you pay for), but it does exactly what it says on the tin. It plays my region 1 dvds with no
problems at all. Definately my best buy of the year.
And Amazon deliverd well on time.
