Summary: not such a bargain
Comment: Cheap, yes, but it's a way of throwing mony directly to the bin. Very poor quality image, and many
DVDs will not play properly. These are original DVDs, forget about using a home made one.
Spend a
bit more in a better system, that would be saving money, because you will end up buying a better one
soon after you buy this one.

Summary: Not happy at all
Comment: After reading some of the other reviews i was wary about buying this DVD player, and then when I
recieved it, i was not let down, first I discovered it didn't even come with a scart lead, so I went
and bought one, only to plug it in and it to be faulty, the disc tray wouldn't even open, therefore,
i have come to the conclusion, that you get what you pay for!!!

Comment: This player at £24.99 is an absolute bargain, it plays everything, and to be honest I bought it
thinking if it lasts 6mths - 1yr I'm happy, you buy shoes more expensive than this, and they dont
last as long!!! I would recommend anyone buying this its great, and at this price you cant go wrong.
I have bought 2 of these one for me and another for my mother in law, I would highly recomend it to
anyone, with anything you buy sometimes you get one that does not work, but Amazon replace it so
whats the problem?? BUY IT NOW its well worth the money.

Comment: After approx 2 months the DVD player will only play certain DVDs(about 1 out 5) and then it adds
subtitles with no narrative sound , only music!

Summary: Does what it says on the box
Comment: I read all the reviews and noted the problems reported, but the only one I noticed was occasional
slight sound/picture lack of synchronisation (after pausing DVD). Otherwise, plays USA DVDs straight
out of the box, and home recorded MPEG. Great for £25.
