Summary: DON'T BUY IT
Comment: To be fair this is the second one that i have purchased. i couldn;t get the first one delievered to
my address so i had it delievered to my mothers as she is uk and i am British forces. Anyway that
one has been fine, same niggles as other reviews but for the price its fine. the second one was from
a different supplier and slightly dearer but the same dvd. At first it was fine and now it stops
playing half the DVD you can;t get back to way you are, my DVD's were new and unscratched. There is
no reason that i can see why it does it, can;t return it and would not recommend anyone gamble
buying them. My mother purchased cheap DVD from a supermarket (infact cheaper) and its been
fantastic and its easier to return if she had any probs. DON'T DO IT!!

Comment: Saw these at £29.99, read the reviews and bought two, one for me and one for a Christmas present.
The picture through the scart suffered with ghosting and a vertical band in the middle so I used the
video out and plugged it into the front of my tv. The picture was fine most of the time but breaks
up into squares at intervals when playing some films. Also on some DVD`s and SVCD`s the sound and
picture is out of sync, these play fine on a Philips DVD player that my son had given for Christmas.
The one I bought as a present has started turning off after 20 minutes while playing films or music
and I am now in the process of trying to return them. I wish now I had Bought two of the Philips
ones they are about £45 on Amazon and play everything I`ve tried. I would not buy A Starlogic one
even with the £5 price drop

Comment: it is not possible to turn off subtitles on some dvd films which is annoying especially when the
film is in english anyway.
apart from the fact that it plays multi-regional dvds there is not a
lot going for it.
the controls are not easy to figure out neither is the info as to how long
chapters have left to play or that have played

Comment: ordered one of these even though there were a lot of bad reviews! got it a couple of days ago. it
has played every region dvd i have put in it. its very easy to use! a bargin at £25!

Summary: no stars no logic
Comment: Beware this DVD player is absolute rubbish. The first day I got it the first DVD disc I put in got
stuck inside and would not eject. It took me weeks until I finally got it back out. It wont play
most discs and keeps copied ones inside until it gets bored and decides to spit them out. If you
take it to a repair shop to get it to eject it will cost you more than the player and if you try to
remove it yourself (by remving the lid) you invalid the guarantee
At present I'm waiting for a
disc to be released then I'm throwing the player straight in the bin.
