Summary: RIP Starlogic 'the best little dvd player in the world'
Comment: I aquired my dvd player in December 2004, now it's February 2006 and I feel that the abuse the
machine experienced at my hands,(i.e. not knowingly leaving it on pause for days on end),lead to its
demise.

I have taken it to 2 t.v repair shops, to no avail, they cannot resurrect my
player, for love or...well at least £60. Such is the 'throw away society' we live.

I
have searched high and low for another, but will now be forced to buy another dvd player, hoping
that it will be my starlogic incarnate.:)

Summary: Still so young....
Comment: It was a good looking little thing that played my DVDs well into its 2nd going into its 3rd
year....unfortunately things began to change. It didn't like me watching DVDs anymore. I ended up
looking at that horrible blue starlogic screen as disc after disc would freeze, skip and not play.
Eventually, it didn't want to give up a disc in its tray so I had to dissemble it and now I'm trying
to find another. Perhaps I've learnt my lesson and will not sell myself short with a cheap device
but while it lasted it worked so well and I have no qualms about its demise after the price I bought
it for. My search for a good looking multi region continues.....

Comment: Mine worked fine for 14 months, I suppose it had its days counted from day one as it was the
cheapest in the market. It will eventually stop working as I have now seen it has done to many
people.

Comment: I have had my starlogic player for one and a half years and it is as good as it has always been, i
dont see the problem its cheap and works fine i must be a lucky one!!

Summary: Dead Again
Comment: Had two of these now for presents and both have died. Can't power them up. If it's for you and you
know that you are taking a risk then it may be worth the money. But I am not going to risk it again
as a present, well not for a friend...
