Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Coulda been a contender Comment: This is a decent 2.1 speaker set. The bass is possibly a bit rumbly as another review said but it is minor and you can adjust the bass on the excellent control unit, where you can also plug in your PC, an MP3 player/etc (I use it for my Xbox's audio) and headphones, all at once. My biggest complaint is that at very low volumes, such as when listening late at night without headphones, only the left speaker channel works and I don't get stereo sound. This occurs in about the bottom 20% of volumes which few people will actually use but as I use them in a small room above my parents' bedroom, I need low volume at 2am! If you don't care about very low volumes (or you use headphones as I should), these will supply you with excellent stereo sound in movies, games and when listening to music. The bass isn't perfect but well in line with the price and only the low volume channel problem is something I think is a real issue. Customer Rating: Summary: Amazing! Comment: This is my first Klipsch set of speakers and I am very pleased with the quality. It is capable of handling very loud volumes with no distortion and just, well its a very solid set of speakers. The satellite speakers are alot LARGER than anticipated; looks alot smaller in the pictures... but hey, I'm not complaining! The only minor setback is that when my handphone rings, it seems to trigger a little disturbance to the speakers, making it ring a little tune of its own. It's just a little annoying but apart from that, I'm incredibly satisfied! Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent - except for the subwoofer hum. Comment: Mids and his are clear and sharp, basses are a bit blunt and 'rumbly', but in overall these speakers sound great when properly tuned, especially while played lauder. Would give them 5, if only for the annoying hum from the woofer that I couldn't get rid of, as much as I tried. It is mostly hidden by the sound of the PC fans, but I have to unplug speakers when I want silence (like, to sleep). If I knew of this problem before, I would have most definitely bought some other ones. Customer Rating: Summary: Unmatched bass quality Comment: just bought the system and i am more than happy. it gives ultra clear bass and amazing sound quality. they wont make the floor shake but will definately give you an elecctrifying sensation. only negative point probably would be the size but the funky speakers make you overlook that. completely worth it.
