Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: UNRELIABLE AND NOT LOUD ENOUGH Comment: I bought one of these recently and have already sent it back for a refund. It was easy enough to pair up to my Nokia N82 and testing it in the house seemed to work ok. However, using it in the car proved to be useless above 50 mph as the tiny speaker is completely inadequate. I cant imagine anyone using this on anything less than full volume level. The other big problem I found was that sometimes during an incoming call, you would press the answer button on the unit, and although the unit would stop ringing, (giving you the impression that the call is connected) it would go dead immediately, having failed to properly connect, despite the fact that your phone is still ringing. The final straw came when this happened and I missed an important call from one of my customers. Being unable to speak to them at the time because I was driving, I later found out that I lost the business to a competitor. The unit would also randomly disconnect during calls, even in full signal strength areas One other thing, I got the impression that this is some cheap unbranded Far East item, as there are no manufacturers details on the box or instruction manual, giving you no chance to speak to a dedicated customer service representative or a technical help line. I'm going to buy a Parrot Bluetooth system that uses the car speakers, as I reckon thats the only way you can comfortably hear the person you're talking to, without having to raise your ear up to a tiny 1 watt speaker whilst driving any faster than 50 mph. Customer Rating: Summary: So far so good Comment: Ordered the T210 last Thursday afternoon and was surprised to have it delivered on Friday morning, first class service there from the supplier. Early tests show it works well but my car is a Kia Ceed and fitted to the visor, I couldn't see the unit as it was more or less above my head. Also the visor is very thick and the clip didn't go on too well. However, I have fitted it on top of the pullout ashtray, which I don't otherwise use, at the moment fitted with Velcro and this seems to be a good position for it. It's easy to see and reach the buttons, far easier and safer than above my head and it works just as well there as anywhere else. Nice kit, glad I don't need to use the earpiece anymore! Customer Rating: Summary: Mains charger. Comment: I have an old charger from a Nokia the one with the larger pin I think its from a 3110. This works absolutly fine with the BT-210. My wife loves the BT-210 and says it is so easy to use. Say no more. Customer Rating: Summary: Not bad but... Comment: The speaker in this unit is loud enough when you have the radio off and there is only road noise but if you like your music loud you may find the only way you know you have a call is when the lights come on. My one of these did not come with magnets and the integrated clip on the kit only works on one side of the visor clip so if the conditions change you have to pull over (swapping sides really is a two handed job). In desperation I have propped it up on the dash by the gear stick and it still functions well when I am using it. Aside from this build quality seems good and it functions well. No-one has ever told me that they can't hear me when I use it. My only other quibble with the description above is that I get no-where near 200 hours standby and if I leave the kit on but unconnected it will last 2 days tops (and I am not a frequent phone user, I just have it on in case someone calls.)
