Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent! Comment: Dont waste your time listening to some of the other reviews! They go on about it not detecting cameras till its to late! It is not designed to detect cameras full stop! Its designed to detect Lazer/Radar guns which the police often set up, mostly hand held guns! NOT cameras! All i can say is the people who write these poor reviews like the ones below have absolutely no idea what it is they purchased, i bet they never either read the manual! They just assumed! This product does everything it says it does, saved me a lot of times when the police was sneaky at the back of there vehicle with the Lazer/Radar guns i knew well beforehand and adjusted my speed accordingly. Dont waste your money on expensive ones they have just the same features as this one does. Dont waste your time listening to them below giving bad reviews of this product either as they thought it did something that they dont! there fault really, they shouldnt buy something they know nothing about! Customer Rating: Summary: Warns you only after you're nicked! Comment: So my unit is completely insensitive and unresponsive. It only warned me of cameras when I had already gone through them. Fortunately I wasn't actually speeding! Of course if you're only using it to detect accident black spots rather than your license then maybe it still has a use. But I hope this helps your purchasing decision. I'm charging mine back via the card company. Customer Rating: Summary: Waste of time! Comment: The product is useless. It only detects mobile speed guns not normal speed cameras. It goes off all the time whatever mode you set it to. It's excellent at detecting traffic lights, other peoples parking sensors, automatic doors etc, etc. The problem is that it goes off so often that if you do ever go past a mobile speed trap you'll assume it's something else that it's detecting. It makes an annoying bleeping sound (frequently and seemingly at random) and it's cable is to short and gets caught and pulls it away from it's holder. The glue on the felt that keeps it in place comes unstuck when it gets hot (in moderate sunshine). All in all in might be cheaper than others on the market but there is a good reason for that! Customer Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT PRODUCT Comment: Easy to install, Easy to use, Saved me once already and i've only had it a day!! If you buy one i do warn you though set it straight away to city mode or you'll end up with it going off all the time. Once on city mode it works like a charm. Loads better than road angel.
