Summary: Does not work with the Zi6
Comment: Amazon presents this memory card alongside the Kodak Zi6 camera. This implies that the two work together.

But the card does not work in the Zi6 - during playback, you get a red triangle with an exclamation mark. I'm going to get a premium brand next time.

Summary: no problems
Comment: arrived in good time. had it a few months now and it's been working fine. Haven't had a chance to max it out but have had a few gigs of photo's on it at one go. use it in a panasonic dmc-tz5 and it functions fine - including all video modes.

Summary: Works perfectly in my Canon and my Mac
Comment: I bought this card while waiting for my new Canon SX1 IS to arrive. I was pretty sure it would work, but all these tales of Transcend's incompatibility with many Canons did concern me a little, especially since I use only Macs (another impossibility according to some reviewers here).
All I can say after a couple of days of playing around with the camera, the card, the reader and my old G4 Mac Powerbook is that the whole system has worked perfectly. For me, at least, there has been NO incompatibility with Mac OS 10.4 or OS 10.5, or with the Canon camera.
I slot the card into the S5 Transcend reader; the reader into the USB slot on my Powerbook; the laptop takes 10 seconds to recognise the card, and then starts pulling through the pix at a phenomenal rate. Well worth the money.
I can only suppose the one-star reviewers are very unlucky or haven't done enough buying research before buying. It's shame that these people have rated a wonderful card so poorly because of their own shortcomings.

Summary: 16GB of storage space for £21
Comment: Like another reviewer on here, I have the DMC-TZ5 and the 16GB card works well. I could fit around 3525 9 megapixel images on the card but that'll take a little while to reach that limit. Start using video though especially in HD mode, storage space will disappear quickly although this also depends on the type of video and audio codecs used in a camera etc. For a card that cost £21 including free postage and packing, I am delighted with this purchase.

You should bear a couple of things in mind prior to bouying this card. You need a card reader that can read SDHC cards if you're going to use it as a separate memory back-up (if you try to force the card into a standard SD slot, you'll damage the card). Alternatively if you can, connect your device to a computer via USB/Firewire. Then there's the issue of compatibility - please check with the manufacturer who makes your camera/device if the card will work with your device.
