Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Brilliant FM transmitter for ipod Comment: Apart from the fact that it arrived next day (great!), the item was up and running in less than 1 minute! You just connect it and away you go. It has the same occasional hissing problems as all FM transmitters (not a fault of the unit - just the technology). What's really nice about this unit is it looks good and you can use it with or without the car charger. That means that you can use it with any FM radio (not just the car). The 4 channels can be set up for a variety of locations. You can also preset the volume output and whether or not you want FM to be transmitted in stereo or mono (Mono removes the hiss completely). A highly recommended buy! Customer Rating: Summary: Not Bad For Price! Comment: First time I have used an FM transmitter. The Belkin TuneFM provided a nice surprise considering the price paid was £8.95. It operates well in both my vehicles providing it was attached to the sun visor. Not CD sound quality but that does not matter with the background noise from the vehicle. Recommended! Basically look elsewhere, I can only compare it to one other FM transmitter (my previous one) and this belkin thing admittedly does charge the iPod which is useful, but if you end up buying it I think that like me, you'll soon be looking for another more powerful one as radio stations constantly break into your 'iPod broadcast'.
