It arrived promptly in good condition and is in good working order. It is lovely to be able to hear the sounds of our old records again, especially when they start and finish - there's nothing quite like it! And the box looks so lovely too; very smart and well finished. Comment: This enables me to enjoy my big record collection again, as well as cassettes, CDs and radio, and the retro style is lovely - I much prefer it to the malfunctioning 'modern' style radio/cassette/turntable it's replacing, and the warm colour of the wood blends perfectly with other furniture. Its appearance recalls our family's old radio (when, in my teens, I would listen to jazz when my parents were out of the house!), and the sound quality is better than I'd dared to hope. The only part I am dubious about is the cassette player - the mechanism seems a bit clunky and I would have preferred the more usual play/rewind/fast forward/stop buttons. But hey, it's a great contraption, the price is right and the delivery service (within a few days) was excellent. I'm delighted with it. More Reviews
