Comment: Just before Christmas, I ordered the ITTUSB05 having read the reviews which sounded pretty good, but I can't actually comment on this item as having ordered it from ACS MEDIA they decided to replace it with another model which they described as an "upgrade unit" the LP Profile. The sound quality on this was awful even after trying the trouble shooting advice so we returned it to them about three weeks ago. We have yet to receive a refund despite ACS Media's returns policy which states "If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, and you will receive a full refund for the price you paid for the item." I always associate the word upgrade to mean better, but not in this case. It would have been nice of ACS Media to get in touch and ask if we would have accepted an alternative product; that would have been good customer service and even better to supply a prompt refund. Customer Rating: Summary: USB- Plattenspieler ION Audio ITTUSB05 Comment: Service excellent arrived when promised. Easy to set up and use which suits me fine as I'm a novice. Very please with the end result. Also have the ION 2 Tape play/recorder. Customer Rating: Summary: Happy Husband Comment: I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present. He couldn't believe his eyes when he opened the box and saw what was inside. Good quality, very well packaged and really excellent delivery. Would recommend this dealer. Customer Rating: Summary: Eventually did what I wanted it to do Comment: Excellent delivery - the product came the following day as promised. The turntable itself is really good but when I loaded the EZ vinyl/tape software it only worked once and I spent a lot of time and frustration trying to make the software work. I did contact the helpdesk but all they could suggest was that I download a later copy of the software from the website and when I visited the EZ website to try and download the latest version I was completely thwarted every time. Out of desperation I loaded the audacity software which is far more complicated and time-consuming but does work well. So full marks for the hardware and the audacity software and no marks for the helpdesk and the EZ software. Customer Rating: Summary: Misleading information Comment: Be warned . . . the product pictured is not what you will actually receive from ACS Media! Instead, a cheaper (supposedly upgraded) black not silver, ION profile LP Vinyl-Archiving Turntable. I'm in the process of arranging a refund. ACS Media extremely unhelpful so far and implying that the change of product was made clear on the Amazon website when I placed the order - which it most definitely was not! More Reviews
