Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Rather dissapointed Comment: At first I was very pleased with the sturdy appearance of the product, and proceeded to fit it to the wall making very sure that the bracket was perfectly upright using a spirit level. All seemed well until I fixed the television and realised that its weight inevitably caused the television to tilt due to the slop in the pivots. The real shortcoming now dawned - there is no way to adjust out any tilt, and there is little worse than a TV at a jaunty 2 degree angle off horizontal!! Seems a minor issue, but it really does look shoddy. Customer Rating: Summary: Good but not perfect Comment: The bracket is extremely sturdy and well made, although there is one small problem and that is a slight sag on each bolted joint due to the weight of the TV. This is enough to tilt the TV slightly out of horizontal alingment. The sag can be minimised by tightening up each joint quite hard, but you lose the ease of adjustment by doing this. If I was buying another bracket, I would get one with a rotational adjustment for the TV to compensate for this. Also, the instructions were not 100% clear for assembly. Comment: Brought this item just a few days ago to go with my new sony (Sony KDL-26P3020 - 26'' Widescreen Bravia HD Ready LCD TV), perfect item, Mounting was easy, instructions were easy enough (diagram :0)). Supports the weight of the TV easily and movement is good. Customer Rating: Summary: I like it ... Comment: I ordered this from Amazon, attracted by the decent price. As usual, Amazon delivered swiftly, within a couple of days of ordering so my husband rigged it up last night. Hama is a German brand apparently so I expected the quality to be good and I wasn't disappointed. It's very sturdy and looks the part. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because it is just a little on the bulky side; I think I was expecting it to fit closer to the wall than it actually does but for all that I think it's a cracking good deal from Amazon. My new TV has arrived today so I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like when it's fitted to the bracket. More Reviews
