Comment: I searched the net for a decent docking station at a reasonable price that could be used with an older Nano. I read all the reviews on this item which were mostly positive. When it arrived (for a Christmas present) it did look a bit plasticky but you get what you pay for I thought. The sound though is poor and crackly despite fiddling with all the tuning bits, the remote didn't work but worst of all it comes with a message in the packaging that tells you that it doesn't work well with older generation Nano's. Now why didn't they put that on the description. Mine is re-packaged and waiting for someone to collect. Customer Rating: Summary: Very good for the price Comment: These speakers are outstanding as for the price the sound quality is very good, and it looks stylish and more expensive than it actually is. It charges your ipod too so it is great to leave your ipod in all the time. The only slight snag is that it is NOT portable, as although it doesn't say it is in the description, it is a wrong assumption, and that is slightly frustrating. However that aside, it really is great value for money and there won't be a reason to take it back if you decide to purchase this good. I completely agree! They are definitely value for money, but not just that, they are good quality speakers with decent sound. We have them in our lounge and when we are listening to music the sound is good enough for us to not bother getting a system. They would probably be good enough for a small party or social gathering, but obviously not for a big party or a big space. Perfect for what they are. But i didn't have enough money to buy a £100+ Ipod speakers, so i just decided to buy them anyway and i have recently recieved them and they are FANTASTIC!!! They are so worth the money, i was especially shocked by the volume thinking that it would be quite limites but it can actually go really Loud just like normal speakers. So it's perfect for everyone as it doesn't take up much space, looks really presentable and the volume is brilliant. I bought this product for my boyfriend, and i'm so pleased i did it's such a high quality product. Don't hesitate to get it.
