Comment: I have a number of these leads in use with my equipment, and I can confirm that they do make a difference to the picture and sound. I was sceptical of some of the claims that I had heard about how much they improve the clarity of the picture etc but they really are far better than the rubbish that tends to be supplied as standard with televisions etc. If you are spending many hundreds of pounds on a new TV or DVD player then do yourself a favour and fork out another tenner for one of these. Customer Rating: Summary: Chuck away your old freebie Scart lead Comment: This cable is now sitting between my Sony LCD TV and Topfield digital video recorder, replacing the standard out of the box freebie connector. I'm watching Wimbledon right now and can instantly see a noticeably sharper image with slightly better contrast (better on-screen text and a greener shade of green). I expected the picture to improve but was surprised by the massive improvement in audio quality. The audio from normal TV and recordings just sound a great deal clearer. If you have a digibox or a Sky receiver you can't go wrong by chucking away the old Scart lead and replacing it with this one. I was surprised as there was a noticable difference in picture quality immediately. Makes me wonder what the high end ixos leadsare like. Comment: I purchased this scart for a sony dvd recorder, and thought for the money i must be mad so when i received it ,i could not beleive the quality of it,you just have to see it ,and compare it to the cheap and nasty ones which you see in certain high street stores ,which charge nearly as much for cheap equivalent types,this is top class ,when you connect it you will see the difference immediately,the picture is sharper and much clearer,and the colours are much better,when you spend a few hundred pounds on a tv or dvd recorder ,why spoil it by buying an inferior scart cable ,buy this and get a much improved picture and sound,dont waste your money on cheap inferior ones,i have also seen this very same scart cable on a shopping channel advertised for twice the price amazon are asking,dont hesitate,buy it now . Customer Rating: Summary: An instant difference Comment: I have always been rather sceptical about the claims for expensive esoteric audio and video cables and not owning anywhere near top-end kit have never indulged. My cheapo standard scart lead disintegrated and these seemed good value for the spec and reviews, so I took a punt. I could see a difference the second I connected my DVD player to the TV even with the DVD player powered off. Before there was noise and colour shadowing but now just solid black screen. When actually playing DVD the colours are solid, and vibrant. They feel substantial, like they are well constructed and will last forever too. Great value for the price. More Reviews
