Comment: I'm quite delighted with this tripod. It's lightweight yet sturdy. It collapses to fit in a
backpack and can be erected in seconds, the leg sections are secured with simple clips that are easy
and precise. Tilt are raising mechanisms are precise and wobble free too. Maybe not a
professional's tool but for a serious amateur this is great value.

Comment: This is without doubt great value for money.

And in fact I was very
impressed...........until I extended it.

The actual tripod head is really quite good, I
was more than satisfied with being able to easily pan to the left and right and switch to
portrait.

However, when extended to anything near eye level it really is quite flimsy
and is not very stable at all, which seems to me the main purpose of a Tripod? (this does make it
very lightweight though)

Therefore it certainly shouldn't be considered for serious
amateur or semi-pro Photography.

release plate or instructions in the box.had to buy a quick release plate,in the end i might as well
got the more expensive version.

Summary: Excellent for D-SLR Photography
Comment: I bought this for my Sony A300 D-SLR, and must say yet agian I'm impressed by Sony's products. The
height this tripod reaches is great! I'm 6'4" and only have to bend slightly to use the view finder.
One great feature is the detachable lock that you attach your camera too. This has a quick release
mechanism that allows you to quickly detach your camera if you see something that you simply must
snap!

One slight quibble was that when the tripod was fully extended it didn't seem as
stable, there was a slight shake with a strong wind, but for the price I can put up with that!
