No problems whatsoever with the sound quality nor 'comfort' level (I always feel if you have comfort issues with earphones you probably have them jammed too hard in your ears. I just place them in gently and they're fine). The only drawback for me is the length of the cable, which could be a bit more generous. Probably fine for use with a walkman/ipod but for what I bought them for, it kind of restricts the distance you can sit from the screen. I did notice before buying that a couple of other reviewers had mentioned this but foolishly I ignored them - now I'll probably have to buy some longer-cabled phones.
